You’ve made it to Well-Written Days.
At a writer’s conference, I learned it’s boring to say “Welcome” since just about every blog starts that same way.
So, what can I say? I’m from the south and can hardly resist the urge to put out that mat. I guess just pull up a chair and check out my blog and my website at www.skimhenson.com.
OH, and while you’re here, we might as well introduce ourselves. I’ve written (and been published, that’s the good part) hundreds of articles for newspapers, magazines, ezines and websites. You can read my stories in publications like LifeWay’s Mature Living, GRAND magazine and This Old House.
I’m lucky enough to live at the beach so I’m lucky enough. My husband and I also have a deck that hangs over a mountain stream. It’s attached to a cabin with slow dialup connection and no cable. It’s a good place to take a long nap. Right, honey?
For entertainment, we had two kids twenty-something years ago and they haven’t let us down yet. And neither have their cute sidekicks, nor their dogs and cats. Love you guys!
Well-Written Days is an inspirational, humorous blog about every 24 hours being jam-packed with lessons. And the longer I live, and it’s been a while now, I’m more convinced God wants us livin’, learnin’ and laughin’ for Him.
What about you? Let me know what’s happening in your life. Leave a comment on my blog, then go to my website’s contact page and send an email. Next, I’d love it if you’d “like” my writer’s Facebook page and feel free to leave a comment there as well.
Thanks for stopping by and please come again real soon ’cause I just know you’re right where you’re supposed to be!
All posts are copyrighted. I’ll be happy to share if you’ll link to this blog and let me know where the post is appearing.

I love well written days! I can get my daily devotional from you! Keep em coming!
(continued from previous “comment”) …Oh and if you have any decor questions, I’d love to offer a few suggestions.
Blessing,
Catharine
Your words are so relaxing and down right entertaining to read. You really are good.
Hey, Dobbie! What a wonderful compliment…thanks so much. I love that you’ve stopped by and I hope you saw the adorable “grandkids” who have shown up in a couple of blog posts. They are great fun to write about – pets and life’s lessons just seem to go hand-in-hand.
Happy 2011! I hope it’s the best ever for you and your family.
Hi, Kim. WOW! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. I love your writing style, but most of all I love the honesty in your prose. Glad to know you
Hi Jana, Thanks so much for stopping by and for your encouraging comment. I can’t wait to read the story you sent. I’m so happy we’re connected online and in person at WW. See you March 5th!
